Pictures of surgery during removal of the cancerous

mammary tumors, plus a picture of

Dr. Tello removing a different kind
of tumor from a dog.

These are pictures of Dr. Tello removing extensive mammary tumors from a female dog. The surgery required more than an hour of his time. These tumors probably would not have developed if the dog had been sterilized at an early age. We recommend sterilization for both males and females before they are six months of age.

This is a picture of another type of tumor that Dr. Tello removed. It was on the side of the dog. We don't know what caused it, but it was encapsulated,, not cancerous, about the size of a large lemon, and Dr. Tello was able to remove it successfully.
